Bermuda's Restaurant Week Serves Up the Local Flavors
The Bermuda Department of Tourism, in conjunction with 36 of the island’s top restaurants, will offer its second annual Restaurant Week from January 21 – February 16, 2013. Visitors and locals alike can get so much more out of a dining experience during this island-wide event with pre-fixe dinners at $29, $39 or $49 per person depending on the participating restaurant (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity). Wine parings will also be offered at $29, $39 or $49 per bottle, plus gratuities.
With five more restaurants participating than there were in 2012, Bermuda’s 2013 Restaurant Week will offer a variety of dining experiences from simple and traditional to elegant and special dining, including Bermudian cuisines and international dishes.
“Bermuda’s reputation as a culinary destination has grown since last year’s inaugural Restaurant Week, as it created a heightened awareness of the island’s premier dining options among travelers and locals,” said William Griffith, Director of Tourism. “We are excited that our Bermudian and international chefs will have another opportunity to showcase their luxury travel dining and outstanding cuisine for all to enjoy.”
