My Favorite Rooms at the Ice Hotel in North Sweden
Since ice hotels change every year and are designed by local artists, one of the best parts of the stay is exploring and touring the rooms.
As a guest, your room is only available to you for about 10-12 hours — the rest of the time it’s open to the public. This is not a cause for concern as you won’t want to be in the room any longer (remember, it’s below freezing) and you’ll have a blast walking into everyone else’s. The standard rooms are all the same, but each suite has a unique concept behind its creation.
My favorites at Sweden’s Ice Hotel were called Dragon Residence, Beam Me Up, and Blue Marine. The first two are really fun and detailed, and as you might experience when staring at the photo, I found the latter to be exceptionally mesmerizing.
