Polo
The Newport International Polo club is the oldest in America. Teams from around the country and the world come to compete in this summer long series every Saturday from June through September you can set-up your blanket and chairs or drive your car up to the field and tailgate with friends. The match starts at 5pm and its $10 to park your car (a deal compared to Greenwich Polo Club which is $40/car) Box Seating $15/person and tailgating is $30/space. There are vendors selling food and fun items such as Nantucket baskets by She Shells where I loaded up with a waste paper basket, a tissue box cover and a beautiful black purse with a ribbon and starfish on it!
