Main Act - The Menu 
Chef Erin's dishes are influenced by her classical French training and her passion for cuisine from Spain, Turkey, Italy and Provence. These regions influence her menu and she's juxtaposed Mediterranean recipes with traditional New England seafood fare at Cru. We were served a chef's tasting menu with wine parings. We started off the evening with:

Roasted Tuckernuck Countneck Clams with Greens, Charizo Butter & Grilled Bread - $21.00. 

Lobster Bisque with Sweet Corn Hushpuppies - $15.00 

Grilled Octopus with Spicy Tomato Sauce & White Beans - $19.00

ENTRÉES
Seared Sea Scallops with Zucchini Ribbons, Couscous Almonds & Golden Raisins - $36.00. This dish highlighted the Mediterranean influences.

Line Caught Swordfish with Warm Farro Taboulth, Spicy Feta & Pomegranate - $35.00

DESSERTS
Chocolate Whoppie Pie with Vanilla Bean Butter Cream - $10.00

Air service to Nantucket for this story was provided by Reliant Air's Nantucket Shuttle departing from either White Plans (HPN) or Danbury (DXR). The service is provided on a King Air turbo prop at a small premium to JetBlue's offering without all the hassles.  Cost is $500 each way, per person from Danbury, (DXR) and $575 from White Plans, (HPN).
