wines was offered to us but we stuck with water. Alcohol consumption is permitted in Dubai and there is no doubt that the Al Mahara has a very fine cellar, we just wanted to be able to savor – and remember – every delicious bite of the superb food. The ambience, atmosphere, service and, most of all, the cuisine was first rate and there can be no doubt that the Al Mahara dining experience is one of the finest on Earth. Two luxurious private rooms with their own special views of the aquaria are also available for large parties and celebrations. There were groups of all shapes, sizes, and ages present and yet the atmosphere is extremely private, the service prompt, courteous, informed, and kind. Every guest is made to feel like a royal and a tour of one of the two Royal Suites at the hotel underscored the majesty of our surroundings -- the Burj al Arab is owned by Dubai’s royal family and they treat their guests like their own. I cannot recommend The Burj al Arab and it’s Al Mahara restaurant highly enough for a very special experience. .... |
