About Ray Goduto

Ray Goduto, raised in Shelton, Connecticut, by a plumbing contractor father and his wife, an inspector for a corporation manufacturing o-rings for submarines and space suits while juggling homemaking responsibilities, developed a passion for construction during his childhood while working alongside his father. After high school, he pursued semi-professional football, turning down athletic scholarships from Kent State and UConn.

In 1984, after honing his skills as a crew member on a framing contractor’s team, Ray Goduto launched his own framing business, Ray Goduto Contracting. Under his leadership, he framed complete build outs for multi-million dollar houses in the affluent town of Greenwich, Connecticut.

In 2004, Ray transitioned to complete home building in Fairfield County. However, the onset of the recession posed significant challenges, and he found himself managing the operations of Domack Construction, a prominent commercial and industrial contracting corporation based in Connecticut.

In 2016, driven by his enduring passion for residential building and repair, Ray made a decision to return to his roots. He left Domack Construction and embarked on a new journey, focusing on improving and creating homes in Nantucket Massachusetts and Fairfield County, Connecticut. Ray personally supervises and works on every job, ensuring the highest quality standards.

Beyond his remarkable achievements in construction, Ray Goduto is also an accomplished pilot of his own aircraft. He is renowned for his reliability, personable nature, and unwavering trustworthiness.
