The mystique of the Deer Valley Resort has always been tantalizing to anyone who skis. It’s a place where discerning families and ski enthusiasts have returned regularly to celebrate and have fun on the mountain. Its culture is a driving force. Whether it’s the Mountain Manager stopping to lend a helping hand with a map or, a lift operator’s genuine smile as you board the chair, you’ll come to the conclusion that this place does it right.

Luxury Accommodations & Convenience
The Deer Valley Resort owns and operates nine luxury lodging style accommodations and a signature collection of private homes and condominiums. Five of the luxurious lodges are situated on the access road to the Snow Peak Lodge and are located a stone's throw away from the Carpenter Express lift. Getting around is no problem. Complimentary transportation is provided in a Cadillac Escalade, which services the resort and downtown Park City.

We’re checking into the Sliver Baron Lodge, which is part of the Lodges at the Deer Valley Resort. Its a little tricky getting settled if you’re a newbie. You’ll have to check in at the Lodges and park underground next door at the Silver Baron. The bellman will meet you at your car to collect your luggage and show you to your luxury accommodations.

The Park City area is known for it’s mining heritage. The developers used timber frame construction and iron finishes to reflect the authentic history of the area when they built the lodge. On our way to our one bedroom condo we walked past the lounge area that has a gas stone fireplace and an arrangement of brown leather couches and a large flat screen TV. After a long day of traveling it looked like the perfect place to sit down and unwind over a cup of hot chocolate.

One bedroom with Spa Condominium
Our one bedroom with spa condominium was in immaculate condition! The layout is generous for a one-bedroom setup. These units all have fully equipped modern kitchens with stainless steel gas stoves and toasters. The fridges are oversized and have water dispensers too. We loved the island countertops. They’re made from an acid treated tin with bass rivets and look amazing.

The island has four matching bar stools that are perfect for entertaining. The kitchen opens up onto a great room that serves as a living and dining room that will seat up to six people. We especially liked the oversized dark leather couch that faced the LG 50-inch flat-screen TV. It was perfect for catching a movie as you warmed yourself with the fleeced lined wool blanket. You’ll feel like you’re at home in this room. If you’re using the full sized couch that coverts into a queen sized sleeper you’ll appreciate the additional full bath that’s located down a small hallway off the kitchen. Here you’ll also find some additional built-in storage and a stacked washer and dryer setup too! 

The master bedroom is located directly off the kitchen. It’s very spacious and measures approximately 20’ x 20’. It was furnished with a king sized Mission Craft style bed made of cherry and was luxuriously comfortable due to the feather bed mattress and down comforter. The room also had two matching nightstands, an oversized dresser, a leather armchair and another LG flat-screen TV.

All of the furnishings were top-shelf. The owners spared no expense on outfitting this particular unit. The master bathroom had good Feng Shui due the placement of the loo in a private alcove. The Brazilian slate was the perfect tile selection for the bathroom floors. It blended nicely with the rustic feel of the lodge. The rain shower was amazing and we liked the never-ending invigorating spray.
