On this trip I’m traveling with my four children. We’re so excited to have some fun in the sun on the Mexican Riviera over winter break and not break the bank.

Mexican Riviera Bliss
As soon as we arrived and entered the largest papala (grass hut) in North America we experienced the warm and gracious staff of the Fiesta Americana Condesa. My kids could hardly wait to start exploring the resort and wanted to head straight for the pool and the white sandy beach. It was so inviting that I too found myself pulled towards the sun-drenched Mexican Riviera bliss.

Our Junior Suite
We all headed up to our Junior Suite ocean front digs to get ready for the beach and were so pleasantly surprised to find our magnificent ocean view accommodations were uniquely setup to accommodate families. 

Our spacious Mexican-style suite had a separate lounge with a comfy sofa and two armchairs, a dining area with a table and four chairs and two full baths. They were a little smaller than we expected but, were luxurious appointed. We also had a connecting Deluxe Room with two double beds which was perfect for my two boys.

The room decor was beachy. The designers playfully used sand colored tile and turquoise treatments to bring the Mexican Riviera lifestyle inside. To get the morning started we used the in-room coffee maker to brew a cups of Mexican ‘Joe’. Our mini-bar came in handy when we all wanted to lounge and premium channel surf the flat screen LCD TV. My kids were able to stay in touch we their friends too on Facebook by accessing the complimentary WiFi. Outside on our private deck the fun continued. We especially liked the comfortable lounge chairs and the hot tub and the stunning ocean views.

Fun In The Sun
If you’re like me and worship the sun then Cancun, Mexico is one of the best places to kick back and get some rays.

The sand is cool underfoot and the ocean temp is a comfortable 80-85 degrees year round! Heading down to the beach you’ll be glad to know that the umbrella, towel and lounge service are all included in your stay too. Big Savings! It felt like a rock star sipping my margarita and reading my book when my kids were off playing volley ball, swimming in the pool or playing darts. Heaven! When I got a little to hot or needed to rest my eyes the turquoise ocean beckoned me for a dip. If the wind and the surf picked up in the afternoon then I headed over to the exotic tropical pool that ebbs and flows endlessly around the resort property for some sheltered protection. 

Body & Soul
After a leisurely day at the beach why not indulge yourself with a deep tissue massage at the Fiesta Americana Condesa award winning spa. I had a 90-minute sports massage ($90.00) and then took a steam shower before going for a quick swim in the luxurious immersion pool. It was the perfect way to relax and rejuvenate before an evening of great food and entertainment.

You can also sign up for yoga by the pool or water aerobics during the day and all these services are inclusive with your stay!  

Kids & Teems Thrive
Your kids will have plenty of activities to choose from too. Kids can check out the ‘Fiesta Kids Club’ which offers supervised pool and beach games, competitions, arts and crafts. 

Teenagers will appreciate the ‘Teens Club’ too. It’s  the place to play video games, pool tables, music, movies and sporting activities. They'll have enough freedom to feel independent and pursue their own hobbies and make new friends, but there's always staff around in case they need anything.
