Castle Hill Inn Memories
Who doesn’t love a crisp fall day in New England? Orange sunsets. Red Maples. Starry nights. It’s my favorite time of the year! Recently, this fall I visited the Castle Hill Inn in Newport, Rhode Island.
It’s a spot that resonates with me. I have history there. Good memories of fishing off the rocks, lounging in the Adirondack chairs, romantic dinners filled with great conversations.
I’ve even escaped there at times when I just needed to be alone for a few days and have dropped in spontaneously to celebrate the closing of business deals with Titleist in a past life. I’m a creature of habit.
People who know me can predict what I’ll order at restaurants and where I’ll stay depending on the particular destination. Isn’t it comforting to know; what you know? Why mess around when you’ve already figured it out. It’s hard enough sometimes. Why take a chance?
